Description
The Concurrent Engineering NETwork of excellence (CE-NET) was a European network of organisations operating in the domains of Concurrent Engineering, Virtual Enterprise, and Electronic Commerce. This network was funded by the European Union under an accompanying measure of the ESPRIT RTD programme of the European Commission (ESPRIT 25946). Its mission was to provide an infrastructure to support the shaping of the Concurrent Enterprise as being a full scale Concurrent Engineering implementation within the Extended/Virtual Enterprise.
