N2 - Due to the fast development of wind generation in the past ten years, increasing interest has been paid to techniques for assessing different aspects of power systems with a large amount of installed wind generation. One of these aspects concerns power system reliability. Windfarm modelling plays a significant role in this assessment and different models have been created for it, but a representation which includes all of them has not been developed yet. This paper deals with this issue. First, a list of nine influencing Factors is presented and discussed. Secondly, these Factors are included in a reliability model and the generation of a windfarm is evaluated by means of sequential Monte Carlo simulation. Results are used to analyse how each mentioned Factor influences the assessment, and why and when they should be included in the model.
