Abstract
The total installed capacity in the North Sea was in 2012 5 GW, and it
estimated that it will grow to 40 GW by 2020 (EWEA). This will lead to an increasing
wind farm density in regions with the most favourable conditions. In this study, we
investigate the sensitivity of power density losses to wind farms that are in the wake of
an upstream wind farm.
