Theobjective is to develop methods for design; test and siting of wind turbines; prediction of wind loads and wind resources as well as methods to determine the dispersion, transformation and effect of air pollution. The present report describes theorganisation of the department and presents selected scientific highlights and results from the two-year period 1999-2000. Additional information on the department and its activities can be found on World Wide Web (WWW) on the addresshttp://www.risoe.dtu.dk/vea/. The department's web pages are constantly updated.
