Wind Atlas for Mexico (WAM) Observational Wind Atlas

This Observational Wind Atlas (OWA) report presents the Observed Wind Climate (OWC) and the corresponding Generalized Wind Climate (GWC) at the measurement stations of the Wind Atlas for Mexico (WAM) project. It employs the data from seven measurement stations. An integer number of years at each met station was chosen to be analysed in order to minimize the impact of a seasonal bias; due to the length of the datasets this implied in the majority of the cases discarding some months of data. The full datasets are however publicly available, and the whole time series will be employed in the numerical atlas validation of the project. More data from these seven stations might become eventually available, but the remaining months awaiting transfer will not imply having extra number of integer years so the analysis can be considered as final at least to what completion of integer years refer.
