Abstract
This review (of scour around marine structures) is organized in
seven main sections: Basic concepts; Tunnel erosion; Two- and
three-dimensional scour around pipelines; Scour around piles
(slender bodies), including pile groups; Scour around complex
structures; Scour around large, vertical cylinders; and Scour
around breakwaters (vertical-wall breakwaters and rubble-mound
breakwaters).
