Abstract
Ultra-wide band signal generation using a silicon
micro-ring resonator tuned to a NRZ-DPSK modulated optical
carrier is proposed and demonstrated. Tuning of the coupling
regions of the micro-ring enables the synthesis of monocycle
pulses.
