Abstract
We demonstrate an ultra-compact, waveguide integrated, and slot-waveguide enhanced graphene-silicon micro-ring modulator featuring a large modulation bandwidth beyond 40 GHz and a high extinction ratio of 22 dB, with 6-V driving voltage and only 2-μm-long graphene.
