Abstract
An overview of the road accident developments in Denmark since
about 1965. Although the absolute numbers of fatalities have been
oscillating a bit, the traffic systems risk - i.e. the number of
fatalities per motor vehicle in the country - has been steadily
decreasing. Aspects of the safety policies over the years are
discussed. An outlook for the future is given. In Danish.
