    Abstract

This report suggests a layout for a 10 MW wind farm at Toora, Victoria, Australia. The wind farm consists of 20 • V39-500 kW Vestas wind turbines placed within a given area of land which can be leased for the purpose. Based on available data, the expected annual energy production of the layout proposal is estimated. The report contains an assessment of the wind atlas modelling accuracy in the terrain and the climatological validity of the wind data plus some general comments regarding construction costs, aesthetics and uncertainties.
