    Abstract

The temperature dependence for the reaction of H atoms with H2O2 at pH 1 has been determined using pulse radiolysis technique. The reaction was studied in the temperature range 10-120 degreesC. The rate constant at 25 degreesC was found to be 5.1 +/- 0.5 x 10(7) dm(3) mol(-1) s(-1) and the activation energy was found to be 10.7 +/- 0.5 kJ mol(-1). (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
