Abstract

Peanut allergy immunotherapy (PA-IT) is emerging as a viable treatment option for peanut allergic patients. Various routes of PA-IT administration have been investigated in the search for an efficient and safe IT approach. Here, we performed a comprehensive investigation of the humoral immune response during the mucosal administration of peanut protein extract (PPE) via oral (O), intragastric (IG) and sublingual (SL) routes in a Brown Norway rat model of PA-IT.
