    Abstract

Neutron diffraction has been used to re-examine the low-temperature magnetic structure of Ho. Distortions of the mangnetic structures are found due to interactions of trigonal symmetry, both of the one spin-sip and cone phases. The transition between these phases is showns to occur in two distinct steps.
