The Internationalisation of Services: Trends and Barriers

A recent Danish survey found that, in terms of the internationalisation of services, international WTO negotiations in this area will have to focus on a large number of issues. Moreover, the survey also highlighted the fact that many problems still exist within the European Union. Outlining a number of the barriers that companies face on foreign markets, the survey's overall results indicate that many of these obstacles prevent the internationalisation of services.
