Abstract

What happens when offshore oil and gas platforms remain in place throughout the years? Here, we provide a short introduction to the ecosystems surrounding oil and gas platforms. We also cover the ongoing discussion concerning decommissioning strategies to better support fish populations and marine habitats.

This is the first of three videos about the research conducted by DTU Aqua and DTU Offshore on the importance of oil and gas platforms for fish habitats and fisheries.
