T1 - The Application of Raman Spectroscopy for Analysis of
Multicomponent Systems
AU - Hansen, Susanne Brunsgaard
AU - Berg, Rolf W.
AU - Stenby, Erling Halfdan
PY - 1998
Y1 - 1998
N2 - Department of Chemistry has acquired a new confocal Raman
spectrometer (DIILOR-XY). The instrument can be used for the study
of, among other things, phase boundaries (solid, liquidlliquid,
and liquidlgas). One topic is to investigate the possibility for
analysis of compounds and phases in natural gas and oils. Until
now we have obtained Raman spectra on bottled gas (propane and
butane) mixed with oxygen, condensate (from DONG A/S), many
different oils, and natural gas (under normal conditions). Our goal
is to obtain spectra of natural gas taken directly from the well.
We have designed and developed a cell by with it is possible to
obtain the spectra without condensing
