N2 - This report describes and summarises results from the seventh matrix-based proficiency test conducted by The National Food Institute (DTU Food) as the EU Reference Laboratory for Antimicrobial Resistance (EURL-AR) as an External Quality Assurance System (EQAS). This proficiency test focuses on selective isolation of extended spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL), AmpC and carbapenemase-producing E. coli from meat and caecal samples of animal origin and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) of the isolated E. coli.
