    Abstract

    A critique of the scientific approaches grounding Danish technology assessments for beingnon-reflexive upon the consequences of its biased treatment of who and how some countsas ‘users'. Implications and new approaches are outlined in a story of engineering designers conceptualization of ships passing the Great Belt - the ‘sailing users' - during the constructionof the suspension bridge across the east channel. A story about 'How the Great BeltEast bridge main span got the length of 1624m.
