Abstract
The task of developing a simulation model of a refrigeration
system can be very difficult and time consuming. In order for this
process to be effective, a systematic method for developing the
system model is required. This method should aim at guiding the
developer to clarify the purpose of the simulation, to select
appropriate component models and to set up the equations in a
well-arranged way. In this paper the outline of such a method is
proposed and examples showing the use of this method for
simulation of refrigeration systems are given.
