Abstract
This paper aims at introducing a framework through which companies can adress and overcome the uncertainty regarding their strategic environmental posture and formulate an appropriate environmental strategy in line with their business context, environmental pressures, internal strenghts and weaknesses and with their strategy in general. The relevance of the outlined framework is tested through an extensive case study.
