Stopping power of the elements Z=20 through Z=30 for 5-12-MeV protons and deuterons

    Abstract

    The stopping power for 5-12-MeV protons and deuterons of Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn has been measured. For most of the materials, the accuracy is ±0.3%. For Ca, Sc, Cr, and Mn, which were rather difficult to handle, the results are somewhat less accurate. The results have been compared with published experimental data
