Stationary solution of coupled electron hole and ion soliton in a collisionless plasma

    Abstract

    A stationary solution of the coupled state between an electron hole and an ion soliton (CHS) is found in a Vlasov plasma. The CHS is accelerated to markedly high speed exceeding that of the normal ion acoustic soliton owing to the electron hole.
