Abstract

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is an ideal label-free biosensor technology. Considering this property, we propose a fiber-optic biosensor that combines a tapered multicore fiber (MCF) with SPR to monitor Poly (T) – Poly (A) binding. The biosensor demonstrates high sensitivity in detecting varying concentrations of Poly (A) nucleotide.
