Abstract
Spectral Natural Gamma-ray logs have been run in two water supply
borings at Skjern. The log data have been examined by a new
technique - Noise Adjusted Singular Value Decomposition - in order
to get a detailed and reliable picture of the distribution of
uranium and thorium gamma-rays from heavy minerals. The new
technique proved to be significant better than the conventional
windows techniques.
