Abstract
Wavelength conversion and signal regeneration are realized
simultaneously employing nonlinear optical loop mirror(NOLM). The
experiments demonstrate that NOLM has strong regenerative
capability when it is used as wavelength conversion media. Proper
choice of initial state of polarization controller in NOLM can
enhance the extinction ratio of the converted signal.
