    Abstract

    The INTEGRAL observatory is well-equipped to detect unpredictable, short-lived, and energetic hard X-ray and gamma-ray transients. Its detectors monitor the entire sky with over 80% duty cycle and simultaneously perform deep and sensitive observations of a large sky region spanning 30x30 deg. In this review we will discuss recent follow-up observations of gravitational wave events with an especial focusing on the GW170817 detection as well observations of fast and short hard X-ray transients.
