    Abstract

Various elements of the description of stationary atmospheric turbulence is mentioned. Some specific phenomena dealt with are for example: the variation with height of the mean wind speed; The influence of diabetic conditions; and the variation with height of turbulent wind speed fluctuations. The description emphasizes the important scales of these phenomena. Also some attention is given to spectra of atmospheric turbulence with regard to their shape (characteristic ranges) and general of inhomogenous and non-stationary turbulent phenomena are given.
