Abstract
We demonstrate direct access to dark-soliton comb generation in a high-Q AlGaAs-on-insulator microring resonator, utilizing the large thermal effect. We achieve the largest soliton existence range of 77 GHz for microcombs, enhancing the robustness of soliton comb operation.
