    Abstract

The procedure RESOREX which calculates Resonance Region Group X-sections is described. The procedure uses resonance integrals tabulated as a function of effective NR-scattering crosssection and physical temperature. These resonance
integrals are generated on punched cards by the RESAB programme system described in Risø Report No. 234. The effective NR-scattering cross-section is derived from an equivalence principle corresponding to cylinder, square and hexagonal geometries. Correction for a cladding region containing heavy (WR) nuclides is used.
