Research of CLL resonant DC-DC converter with wide input for battery system

    Abstract

    In this paper, a wide input voltage dc/dc CLL resonant converter is proposed. The presented converter topology consists a Buck-boost circuit and a CLL resonant network, and therefore the Buck-Boost circuit can be used to realize wide voltage input of the CLL resonant converter. In addition, the converter adopts APWM(Asymmetric Pulse-Width Modulation) constant frequency control, which makes the implement of CLL resonant converter easy. Moreover, the employed magnetic integration and switch integration technology can greatly improve power density as well as the cost. Finally, a prototype of 30-60V dc input and 25V/10A output (250W) is designed and the validity of the theoretical analysis and the validity of the theoretical analysis and design of proposed converter is verified by simulation.
