Refinement of La1.5Ba1.5Cu3O7-x from a Twinned Crystal

Abstract

The structure of the title compound (barium copper lanthanum oxide, Ba1.50Cu3La1.50O6.66) has been refined from a twinned crystal using single-crystal methods. The results of the present investigation show lower standard deviations than the results of earlier powder diffraction refinements, but the studies are otherwise in agreement.
