    Abstract

    This document has culminated from a study of the accuracy of wind speed measurement which has been carried out by a number of European Community Wind Turbine Test Stations under the auspices of the CEC-

    Recommendations have been drawn up relating to the choice, calibration and use of cup anemometers. Elucidations to the clauses are given and are based on the findings of subsidiary tasks which have been carried out as part of the project.

    Future work proposals are presented.
