Abstract

Immidiately following the Estonia disaster, the Nordic countries establishe a project entitled "Safety of Passenger/RoRo Vessels" As part of this project the present proposal for modified damage stability probability distribution functions has been developed. and submitted to "Sub-committee on stability and load lines and on fishing vessels safety" at Int. Maritime Organisation (IMO) by Denmar, Finland, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom.
