Abstract

There are several measurements programmes running at the Vindeby site, the most important ones being: Structural measurements on turbines in a low turbulence environment to supplement previous measurements on turbines in windfarms in different terrain types, very rough complex terrain in California and flat coastal terrain in the Norrekaer Enge windfarm; Investigations of the wind resource in near coastal offshore installations; General micrometeorological investigations of profiles, fluxes and spectra.
