Oxalic acid as an assisting agent for the electrodialytic remediation of chromated copper arsenate treated timber waste

    Abstract

    The electrodialytic process is proposed as a technique for the remediation of chromated copper arsenate treated timber waste, using oxalic acid as assisting agent. The method prowed succesfull 93% Cu, 95% Cr and 99% As was removed from the timber.
