Abstract
The purpose is to present analysis procedures for the motion of
ships during ship-ship collisions and for ship collisions with
offshore structures. The aim is to estimate that part of the lost
kinetic energy which will have to be absorbed by rupture and
plastic damage of the colliding structures.
