Abstract
The aim of this project was to evaluate the risk for pollution with organic micro pollutants when sewage sludge is used as fertilizer. None of the micro pollutants was observed in the soil in quanti fiable levels. The nonyl and octylphenols were found in the sugar beets grown in soil fertilized with sewage sludge and mineral fertilizer. PAH were found in the sugar haulm. However, the source for them are most likely atmospheric deposition
