Abstract

Transmission improvements using DCF pre-distortion and optical phase conjugation (OPC) to mitigate nonlinearities for unrepeated links is shown. Improvements of 5.1dB (>3dB in experiments) for a 5WDMx8Gbaud DP-16QAM signal in 224km standard fiber is shown.
