Abstract

In this paper two schemes of the ARQ are presented: end-to-end and multi-hop ARQ. For the second ARQ scheme the question of the additional segmentation in hops is considered.. For the multi-hop ARQ scheme it is shown how to choose the optimal segment size in the case of limited and unlimited buffer. Also considered how the delay influences the optimal segment size.
