Abstract
A general linear body boundary condition of hydroelastic analysis
of arbitrary shaped floating structures generalizes the classic
kinematic rigid-body (Timman-Newman) boundary condition for
seakeeping problems. The new boundary condition is consistent with
the existing theories under certain assumptions. It may be used
for the interaction analysis of floating defarmable structures
with ideal or viscous fluids.
