Abstract

These lecture notes have been written as part of a special course on the numerical solution of Differential Algebraic Equations and applications . The course was held at IMM in the spring of 2005. The authors of the different chapters have all taken part in the course and the chapters are written as part of their contribution to the course. It is hoped that coming courses in the Numerical Solution of DAE's will benefit from these lecture notes.
