Modern micro- and nanoscopy demands functionalities, not only for observing microbiologic phenomena, but also for reaching into and manipulating mesoscopic constituents. This post-deadline contribution describes our latest generation of lightcrafted micro-tools for enabling all-optical light-activated robotics on microscopic scales.
