Abstract
The extrusion process has been investigated for different
geometries, in order to study the strain path of different
material elements during their movements through the plastic zone.
This is done by using the FEM code DEFORM and physical simulation
with wax togehter with the coefficient method. Calculations of
strain paths have also been performed by ABAQUS.
