Abstract
Using a mechanical analog of a solid we have demonstrated the Ohm’s law showing the proportionality be-tween the flux of current and the applied field. Introducing a vibrating motion into the device, the temperature effect was simulated showing the variation of the analog of conductivity with temperature for a normal con-ductor. The model is convenient for classroom demonstration of the Ohm’s law as well as the variation with temperature.
