Subtask 3.4.1 Design and setting up of tests to measure heat transfer coefficient
Objective: Complementary testing methods together with the relevant experimental equipment are to be designed by the two partners involved in order to measure the heat transfer coefficient for a wide range of interface conditions in hot and warm forging processes.
Subtask 3.4.2 Measurement of heat transfer coefficient
The objective of subtask 3.4.2 is to determine heat transfer values for different interface conditions reflecting those typically operating in hot and warm forging operations.
