Abstract
We present a design of a heterogeneous lithium niobate-silicon modulator with VπL of 2.5 V.cm and >120 GHz. We discuss the design-fabrication constraints with micro transfer printing and demonstrate the fabrication of thin film lithium niobate membranes, transfer printed for the realization of such modulator.
