Abstract
Model Predictive Control (MPC) allows a more flexible operation of WRRF under different management scenarios. This study presents a performance assessment of MPC (based on a simplified ASM model) using a digital twin of a medium size alternating WRRF; and results from a full-scale MPC implementation in a small recirculating WRRF, operating for a period of over 20 months.
