    Abstract

    According to the EDIP (Environmental Design of Industrial Products), It is made possible to perform resource and environmental profile analysis of the 100% polyester shirt. In order to understand the true life-cycle consequences, life-cycle analysis of a typical 100% polyester shirt was carried out.The main idea is on the basis of energy use and releases of emissions to the environment (air and water).Our analysis based on the EDIP method demonstrated that the use stage is the most significant.
