Abstract
This paper describes the main features of Life Cycle Assessment method to solve the resource problem. Also it is shown the relationship of life cycle assessment and logistics methodology. It is shown, with the example of mining waste, that the application of the life cycle assessment methodology allows to identify reserves for the possibility of waste management and the extension of the life cycle of raw materials, and, consequently, to improve the overall efficiency of mining.
