Learnings from wind energy policy in EU, with focus on Denmark, Sweden and Spain.

    Abstract

    The paper describes the learnings from different policies for promotion of wind power and compares the Danish development to that in Sweden and Spain. It is concluded that liberalization has created a number of problems for the promotion of wind power and for the establishment of a sustainable energy development in general.
